The problems associated with dumpsites leachates and the heavy metals contamination of groundwater sources in three states of Southeast Nigeria, were identified with potential solutions to address these challenges the study focuses on assessing the effectiveness of batch treatment using various agricultural biomass waste materials (palm kennel shell, sugarcane bagasse, wood savings, and rice husk for the removal of heavy metals from contaminated dumpsite water. Treatment intervals were 30 to 220 minutes with high percentage reduction in heavy metal concentrations within the first 30 minutes. N
An unhealthy lifestyle such as rarely exercising, often consuming foods with high cholesterol and saturated fat is a common cause of high cholesterol levels in the body. Some foods such as fatty meats should only be consumed occasionally, chicken eggs are categorized as dangerous foods while beef brain and quail eggs should be avoided. Lowering cholesterol can be done with natural or herbal ingredients, one of which is black garlic. Garlic powder has been studied to provide significant results on total lipid and cholesterol concentrations. In this research, a new method will be developed by ma
The testing on easy-to-grow weed sprouts needs to be carried out to see how bioherbicides work. This research aims to know the effectiveness of bioherbicide waste of seed red fruit in controlling weeds on planting local upland rice Moai in Wamena. The study is arranged in Complete Random Design (CRD), i.e., the first factor is the type seed weed of Moai upland rice: Solanum americanum, Polygorum rockym, Crassocephalum crepidioides, Persicaria barbata Linn, Ageratum conyzoides, Acanthus ilicifolius, Actinoscirpus grossus, Cyperus brevifolius, Bidens pilosa L., Rorippa indica L., Emilia sonchifi
Anaemia is a decrease in total red blood cell count. Anaemia is a global public health issue that impacts countries of varying economic development. Adolescent girls face a greater susceptibility to anaemia due to their heightened dietary requirements. In Ethiopia, few research studies on anaemia and its associated variables have been conducted. The objective of this study is to determine the frequency of anaemia and identify the factors that contribute to it among adolescent females in Hawassa, Southern Ethiopia. A cross-sectional investigation was conducted in Hawassa City schools. Out of si
The resistivity to electricity of the high temperature super conductivity Tl2-x Bix Ba2 Ca2 Cu3 O10 was measured at temperatures between (90 to 330) K. The results displayed that the critical temperature of the Zero resistivity rises from (121 to 146) K once the Bi concentrate - ion raised from 0.1 to 0.5. The structure of the Tl2 Bi2 Ba2 Ca2 Cu3 O10 compound has also been examined by XRD technique. The examination defined that the compound structure type is tetragonal where a=b=5.36Ao and c=36.09Ao, furthermore the value of C-axis rises to 37.8Ao when up to 0.5 raised.
