Numerical Simulation Analysis of Fire Separation Distance of Rural Timber Structure Buildings under Different Wind Speeds

  • In this paper, to reflect a real fire combustion situation of stilted buildings with a typical wooden structure, we used FDS numerical simulation software to study the suppression effect of a fine-water-mist fire-extinguishing system under different working conditions.   • To explore the effect of adding bamboo fiber and steel wire mesh to BFRP bar-reinforced concrete beams on their flexural performance, we designed and fabricated six test beams with different parameters. Through flexural tests and numerical simulations, the effects of bamboo fiber length and steel wire mesh layout on the crack resistance, deformation capacity, and flexural ultimate bearing capacity of BFRP bar concrete beams were assessed.   • In this study, the transient multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) is proposed to detect the existence, the location and the length of interface debonding defects in rectangular concrete-filled steel tubes (CFST). Mesoscale numerical analysis is performed to validate the feasibility of MASW-based interfacial debonding detection.
